Fall Trout Fishing 2010

The Trout fishing on the Lower Sacramento Riverin the Redding area has been very good the past month for fly fishermen using small nymphs, cadis fly’s , may fly nymphs,
Spin fishermen are side drifting crickets or worms and pulling plugs with great success. Trout are very acrobatic when hooked in shallow water ,jumping many times.
The weather has finally cooling down a bit that makes it a lot more fun to go fishing
The Sacramento River Salmon fishing season will open Oct. 9th 2010 on to upper section of the Sacramento River I have been out on the River looking for Salmon and there is allot of them out there to go try and catch. The go to bait for Salmon fishing will be Roe or Flat fish with a Sardine wrap.Salmon Season special guided fishing trip 2 person for $300 then $100 per person there after up to 4 people.
