Fall Salmon Fishing 2012

The Sacramento River Salmon fishing is starting to slow down a bit but fresh Kings keep showing up every day so that makes it worth while to go out and try for a couple fish. We have been Back trolling quick fish or bouncing Roe with consistent results, Fish On .I was out last week with a couple guys and they hooked 5 Kings and landed 3 of them the largest fish was a 22 lbs. hen.

The Wild Rainbow Trout fishing and Steelhead fishing is good right now drifting Glow Bugs or small nymph fly’s under an indicator. There are a lot of Salmon on the spawning beds now doing there thing be aware not to walk into these beds when you are wading and disrupt the eggs .
