Feb. Trout 2017

TheSacramento River flows out of Keswick dam were just reduced to 12,00 cfs. As soon as the river clears up it will be time to go fishing. Trout fishing on the Sacramento River in the Redding has been on hold the past month until the flows come down to a safe fishing level. The max river flow was 39,000 cfs. When it comes down to 16,000 cfs. It is safe to go out fishing again. Compared to last year at this time the flows were about 3500 cfs.
The Striper fishing should be good this year. High river water years are usually the best times for Striper fishing the Sac. River. We should start seeing a few Stripers showing up in March.
