River Trout fishing is great now. The river is on the rise for
the irrigation in the valley and that always makes the Trout fishing
better. Trout fishing last week with Bruce and Dorthy produced about
20 Trout getting hooked and 10 Trout getting their
picture taken all
the fish were big about 4 lbs. and 16 inches long. On
a 4 hour trip. What
are they biting on. Fly’s, Plugs or Bugs. We practice catch and
release on the Sacramento River for the Wild Rainbows. There
are a few Shad starting to show up in the Red bluff area. Striper
fishing in the Colusa area has slowed down a few of the Stripers have
spawned out and are
heading back to the delta.
