Salmon Summer 2016

Sacramento River Salmon fishing has not been good yet, But it was like this last year up until the last week of September then all of a sudden the Salmon fishing was great. The month of October will be a great time to catch a King Salmon on the Sac. River.

Trout fishing has been great all summer and is still very good drifting fly’s or pulling lures on the Sac. River. The water is about 55 degrees and a little murky about 5 foot visibility I think that made the fishing better this year. Normally the water is gin clear. We are averaging 15 to 20 trout an an outing with a couple 6 lbs. being caught.
