Oct.Salmon 2013

Sacramento River Salmon fishing  has pretty much stayed the same and we are hooking 2 to 6 Kings a trip on Sardine wrapped kwik fish or Roe. The Salmon are a mix of dark and fresh fish and more keep showing up every day. Salmon fishing should be good until it rains hard and muddies up the river. The Steelhead and Trout fishing has been great the past few trips out side drifting Glow bugs or small nymph flies. Ed, Krisy and Eric were up last week for a salmon one day and a Steelhead fishing trip the next. Krisy landed a 20lb. Salmon the first day. The next day they hooked about 30 fish ,10 were 20 inch Steelhead and the rest were wild Rainbow Trout  up to 16 inches.

2013 Fall Salmon

Sacramento River Salmon fishing is great right now. We are hooking 3 to 9 Kings a trip back trolling plugs or back bouncing Roe. The Salmon are bigger this year and are good hard fighting fish and so we don’t land all the Kings that are hooked. NOW is the time to go King Salmon fishing.
