2014 Spring Trout & Steelhead

Sacramento River Trout fishing has been great the past few trips out. The wind blows a lot in the spring around here and can have an adverse affect on the Trout fishing but I have been lucky to fish on days that the wind has not blowing to bad. Dean ,Cameron and Rich fished last week for 6 hours and landed about 20 Wild Rainbow Trout up to 3 lbs. and 1 Steelhead that was 4 lbs. What are they biting on, Fly’s, Plugs and Bugs.
Striper fishing has picked up around Colusa and will only get better over the next couple weeks. Trolling Minnows for Stripers after the river clears up from the rain storms is a very easy way for everyone to have a chance at catching  a Striper.
