Trout fishing the Lower Sac. 5-2018

Sacramento River Trout fishing in Redding is very good now. The high river flows for irrigation have the Wild Rainbows on a great bite. Skip, Doug, and Al fished last week and landed about 50 Trout from 12 inches long to 20 inches. Pictures were taken then the fish were released back into the river. What are they biting on, Fly's, Plugs, and Bugs. We practice catch and release for the Wild Rainbow Trout. A camera is a must have for every trip.

Kokanee fishing on Whiskey Town Lake has been good the past month and will only get better over the summer. Most of the Kokanee are big this year at about 16 inches long.
